A few words for Manong Tero
No time now to write. There are too many things that need immediate attention, too much to do, and see, and remember. I just want to share this article by Katrina Gabrielle Buganan — her tribute to Manong Tero, a Stella Maris security guard who passed away earlier this month.
Manong Tero really did know the names of all the children in the school. Whenever I picked up the girls, he always told me exactly where they had put their bags and where I could find them. Even before Diana started studying there, he would greet her whenever I brought her along, and tell her where her Ate was. We always gave him a goodbye smile, and he would always tell us to be careful on the way home.
Manong, Daren and Diana were so sad when they learned you were were gone. I know you will never read this, but thank you. Thank you for everything.
