A weekend of good things
- The DVD player’s fixed. It went on the fritz last Saturday, refusing to read anything except VCDs, so I was unable to check my new Angel: Season One DVDs until last night.
- Angel rocks. And I still have 5 1/2 disks’ worth of episodes to go. (It scares Dana-mee, though.)
- Picked up The Living Daylights at Video City two days ago. Surprise, surprise — the case was empty when I took it out of the shrinkwrap! Good thing the store replaced it. Say what you will, I adore Timothy Dalton as James Bond. Someone once wrote a review calling him the “most feral” of the Bonds, and he was absolutely right.
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is beautiful, as is the person who sent it to us. Heartfelt thanks once more to Anonymous, who steadfastly refuses to be named here. I owe you supersize-time for this.
- Was able to get a copy of Headlines and Deadlines: The Hits of A-Ha today. As expected, Daren and Diana like the Daylights title track best; I’m partial to The Blood That Moves the Body and I’ve Been Losing You, myself. Dern has no preference; he dozed off while the CD was playing.
If only all weekends were like this.
(Haven’t been posting to the weblog lately. Patience; all is well, and all is well, and all will be well.)
